The problem
Hospitality venues need a practical way to find relevant candidates and decide who to contact. Candidates need a way to be discoverable without relying on an agency introduction.
What I built
I founded and built BarMatch: a marketplace where employers can search candidate profiles, use filters and pay to unlock the contacts they choose. The service uses a contact-unlocking model rather than an agency commission.
The interface puts candidate information and filtering in the foreground so employers can make their own decisions.
My approach
I use AI as part of the building process. The matching approach described in this project is based on transparent rules, with people making the hiring decisions.
This project brings together product design, information organisation and a usable web interface.
